How to add a Village Mall listing

In order to list your business on the Village Mall, you must first register as a Villager. Please visit the People section to register as a Villager.

Criteria for adding a business listing:

• You must be a registered Villager (anyone can register as a villager)
• You must be a resident of King and Queen County with a business that provides goods and services locally, whether or not the business location is outside the county of King and Queen.
• If you are not a resident of King and Queen County and your business is located in another county, your listing will be denied.

Once you have registered as a Villager, you must be approved before you can add any listings. If you provide an email address upon registration, you will be notified when your status has changed.

To add a Village Mall listing:

1. Log-in to the Village Directory. You can do this two ways:
   • Go to People and click on the Log-in button, or
   • Click on the Login link located beneath the green bar at the top of any of the Village Mall or Community Group pages.
    
   
2. To go to the "Add a Listing" page you can:
   • Click on the "Add a Listing" link in the Village Mall menu, or
   • Go to your Villager Tools page using the link beneath the green bar at the top any of the Village Mall or Community Group pages and click the "Add your business to the directory" button.
    
   
3. Fill in the fields on the form. The following items are required for your business listing:
   • Business name
   • Contact phone number
   • Either a web site or a short description
   • At least one category chosen from the list
    
   
4. Click the "Add business listing" button.

You will then be taken back to your Villager Tools page. Your business should appear in the section title "Your Village Mall Listings". It will also now appear in the Village Mall and can be searched for using the Directory Search.
